DVR n00b ready to take the plunge

Well I'm finally ready to enter the wonderful world of DVR, but I have a few questions about the dual tuner models from Dish. I currently have an 811 on my main TV and an old 4700 in the bedroom. I have a UHF antenna plugged in to the 811, and have cable running to the TV in the bedroom. I would like to be able to record both satellite and cable/antenna programming simultaneously. Do the dual tuner Dish DVRs give me that capability, or are they strictly for recording two satellite feeds simultaneously?

Wrong.

Although they probably won't do what the OP wants, the HD DVRs WILL record digital TV (ATSC), but not analog TV (NTSC). And IIRC, the old D-VHS box will even do that.
