View Full Version : E* 8 launch delayed additional 6 days
Now scheduled for June 22:
http://www.spaceflightnow.com/tracking/index.html
This is actually the date E* stated a few weeks ago so I suspect the 6/16 date this site listed last week was an error.
BTW, on this side of the world it will actually be the night of 6/21 if it goes up on schedule. E* will probably show the lift-off on ch 101.
When will E*8 be in operation? I'm looking forward to the improved PQ!
Probably mid-August. Don't look for improved PQ as a result of this. Look for more locals.

There should be improved PQ on some channels, because some channels will be moved off CONUS transponders and onto spot beams.
All of those channels would be locals, most likely, since locals are not sharing transponders with core channels.
