Discussion of Bug: L270: Delayed start of playback

Twice in the past few days, when selecting start from beginning on the DVR menu, playback does not start and the 921 appears to become un-responsive.

The first time it happened, no recordings were in progress, so after 30 seconds or so I soft re-booted the unit.

The second time it happened two recordings were in progress, so I did not want to re-boot, and while I was trying to figure out what to do, the playback suddenly started (about a minute delay - next time I'll measure the time lapse). The unit seemed normal thereafter.

This has occured both when starting playback of SD recordings and HD OTA recordings.

I've noticed that same thing happen from time to time. It's like the system is busy and can't do what you want for a minute or two and then it catches up and starts functioning normally.

I've seen it as well, but didn't notice the conditions that triggered it.
