Same reason why Dish hasn't picked up Oxygen and Fine Living. It's just a business decision. :)

None of us here have the answer -- only theories. Since DirecTV has in policy never mentioning what channels it considers adding to its system until after the deal is done, nothing concrete can be given you in way of a solid response. But I'd advise you to write DirecTV via its Web site (explore it; offhand, I don't recall the section because it's been awhile since I'd done exactly what I'm suggesting). All in all, if you're after a theory on why Nickelodeon Games and Sports and Style Network are available on Dish Network but not DirecTV, I'd say it has to do with management and whatever research they claim to have. Personally, both these channels should've been added because the expense isn't all that great and Style Network, in particular, has been growing with more and more cable outlets carrying the channel -- insofar as to include it on Basic Analog (and, yes, this means systems other than Comcast, a part owner in Style).
