Keep emailing the customer service dept to add this channel. I imagine that once comcast starts carrying the NHL network (part of its tv deal w/the NHL) that directv should add it, eventually.

It doesn't exist in the USA!!! Its canadian only!!!

well nfl network is american and i get it on expressvu so can't see that being a problem.

I think you are referring to OLN that will be carrying NHL games this year. DirecTV already carries it.

no there is an agreement that this fall comcast will launch the NHL Network as per the agreement with the nhl for outdoor life network. My question is who will be the hosts of the nhl network and what will they show?

From the OLN website

Round-the-clock coverage on the NHL Network, to be launched in the US in the future; and
• Comcast will have the ability to carry and/or syndicate additional games on Comcast’s regional sports networks where it has the consent of the local team and team’s rights holder.
