Or whatever it's called? I am adding 2 FOX stations online and it shows only a $5 fee if I downgrade.

If you drop programming, they will charge you a $5 fee. It doesn't matter what else you are doing in that transaction.

If you are ONLY adding programming you will not be charged a $5 fee.

Many CSRs will waive the $5 downgrade/sidegrade fee if your account doesn't have too much churn or if the new programming costs more than the old programming. But they do not have to do this. Stories of a person dropping a $5 a la carte channel and adding a $49 foreign language package and still being charged the $5 for dropping the a la carte service. :) Of course we later found out that this person was churning programming every month or so!

See ya

I wasn't charged a $5 fee when I dropped New York ABC for Chicago ABC. Of course all I really did at the time was switch feeds, not really drop a channel. Maybe that's why?

Are you aloud to downgrade programming online now?

nope

I just want to get a few Redskins games. This week Denver has the Skins game, next week WNYW has the Skins/Chiefs game. But I like KTTV for Good Day LA every morning before I go to work so I wanted to get Denver and LA, then change Denver to NY.
