I think it would be a good move for both parties...

A lot of people don't want to invest in Satellite Radio equipment and all that for like $12 a month.

Now I doubt sirius will give DISH the channel....

But.....
maybe as a subscription channel......

Like $3.99 a month for Howards channel would be great. You could DVR his show and watch it (listen) when you got home from work, or burn it onto CD..

I am not going to pay $12/month plus equipment, when I only listen to radio on my commute, 15 minutes each way...

Dish doesn't carry any of the Sirius talk channels so I doubt that they will carry Stern (he's a waste of bandwidty anyway :) ). You could simply buy a Sirius system with a home docking station to listen at home and solve the "problem". You could then listen in the car or at home.

When I got Sirius last year, I was unable to record any of the Sirius channels on the PVR. Unless that has changed you couldn't record even if they did allow you to subscribe through Dish.

Fat chance, Dish wants to sell you their version of the Sirius tuner. Charlie needs another billion dollars -- he's trying to catch Gate$.

Even though it's not likely, I think dish should do something, even if it's a subscription. They need to have something to be even with D* now that they will be offering folks the ability to listen to Opie & Anthony for free...

(sarcasm on) LOL, that's a real drawing point. (sarcasm off) :)
