I have hdmi going to tv and i have optical going to reciever but i cant get anything from my surround speakers only my tv speakers, is there something i can do?

Does the TV have an optical out? Have you activated DD in the H10 menu?

na the tv doesnt have optical but i did put it on dolby digital

What model of A/V receiver do you have? Are you sure that the optical audio input you are using is assigned to the device that you are selecting? On my Yamaha I can re-assign any of the inputs which can get confusing.

Also is there an input mode? On the Yamaha I can select either the optical or RCA or Auto, which uses optical if there is a digital signal or RCA it there isn't.
