Things look different in the 921 guide this year.
The Sunday morning 1am hour is listed twice. The time headers now show "(std)" after the time change.
So, the Sunday night 10pm news is actually listed at 10 pm. So, I assume if I set up a timer it'll be ok.
My 510 still looks the same a earlier years. The start/end times for everything after the time chance is 1 hour off (the 510 thinks the 10pm news runs from 11:00 to 11:35). If I create a timer now that fires after the time change, it has the wrong start/end times.

I noticed the "(std)" in the 9 day guide earlier this week so I don't think that's the change. Stll have L270.

Yea, this change went in before L272. But I don't think it worked this way last time we moved the clocks.
Apparently, L272 also involved a fix for DST. I wish they would give us more data on these releases.
Must of us still tolerating the 921 are well aware of it's defficiencies and how to work around them. Getting more information on the new release would only help us.

Yeah - I saw the "(std)" as soon as this Sunday appeared in the guide (still on L270, of course).
And I fully agree about release notes. The R-N forum sure seems dead.

Is there any reason given anywhere as to why there needs to be an annual fix to the time change with the 921? Are the other model box top receivers going to get a time fix software/firmware upgrade?

Well, once you get to name based recording the problem becomes moot.
So, the 522/625/942 are ok as is.
That largely leaves the 501/8/10, which, who knows... Might still get NBR eventually.

You also have the 721. My guess is that the 508 and the 721 have been through an extra DST cycle or two so these type of issue might have already been flushed out but were not ported to the 921. Just a guess on my side, but I do remember having a series of DST fixes with both my 721 and 508 a while back.
