Haven't seen this posted anywhere on here yet. It would seem the government has put up a web site giving out info about DTV. It is www.dtv.gov
It has also been reported that some of the politicians only want to set aside $990 million for set top boxes for the public. Then you would have to request the $ 40 coupon. Only 2 per household only. They say the set top boxes will be about $ 60. So you still have to shell out an extra $ 20 per box for your first 2. They also don't feel that they should subsidize the upper middle income bracket and above. So they may not qualify for the coupons. Also they want the change over to be done by December 31, 2008. There have also been some articles in the USA Today about this.
