picture breakup

everytime i record any program on my directv r-10 tivo the picture freezes and breaks up for a few seconds is there any way to fix this problem?

It would help to have more information ....
Do you also see this problem during "Live TV"? The DVR is always recording the satellite data stream, so even when you're watching "Live TV" you're watching a recorded data stream. What happens if you rewind slightly? Does the "freeze" repeat in the same spot on the recording? Do you other DirecTV Receivers? Do they have any problems?

I am having this problem often as well. It is only happening to me on recorded programs but I've been watching the Falcon's game all afternoon and not seen it once. Just about every recordede show has the problem from time to time. Rewinding after it happens, it's always in the same place. It's doing it in the recording process. All my transponders are in the high 90's. I cannot imagine this being a signal problem. I am going to try some tests. I am going to start a coupld of recordings and at certain time I am going to start moving through menus, etc. I want to see if this can be induced.
