LED Circle on front dimming in and out...

The LED circle on the R15 was dimming in and out last night. I had never noticed this before. The remote was also being extremely slow to respond which i also hadn't noticed. At first I thought it was a software upgrade, but the info is showing nothing. Anyone know what it means?

i don't know the answer to this question either but i do know that when the unit is in "pause", the center light dims in out............fade dim>brighten>fade dim>brighten and so on. :)

Same as above only time I have seen the Dim in and out is when it's on pause.

I noticed it does different things depending on the brightness. With the hiccups of this box I wonder if that's on purpose or accident.

I gave up and shut the blue light off. I really got somewhat spastic when after rewinding and then going to play, the stupid blue light was still going around and around backward!!!!!!!! I am a Virgo!!!!!! We cannot tolerate such things!!!!!! Drives us bonkers!!!!

Nope....it ain't the chase lights......it is the stupid light going backward while the drive is playing forward!!! Bassackward things do give me fits!! I prefer things that work as they are supposed to. Thankfully the goofy thing can be turned off!!

Yeah that light is weird. I guess I watch it more now but I can't really tell that anything it does has to do with anything the DVR itself is doing.

yeah, there might be some bugs in the software, but the blue light rocks... ;)

Actually, I really like the overall looks of the unit. Blue power, blue circle light, red record light...And yeah, the FF with the circle effect is cool. :)
