after 3 years my ride with directv will be coming to an end
we are moving into a condo that does not want directv dishes put up so we have to go back to cable we are getting a deal i forget what it is at least i will have hsod=howard stern on demand this will be fun :D

as far as directv goes the place is allready rewired for cable so i cant get directv please i still love directv but we just have no place for it :(

You misunderstood what n8dagr8 was trying to say: You have the right to install a minidish so long as you're not in a historical district and that the location and setup of the dish is within respectful guidelines. The choice is, of course, up to you.

It does not matter what the condo association wants or what comcrap has paid them to tell you. What matters is the FCC says you can have directv if you like. "Pre-wired for cable" doesnt mean no sat. Almost any residence is prewired for cable now, it just means coax in the walls and a jack installed. In many cases that can be connected to a sat dish instead of cable. The real choice is still yours.
