R15 Keep At Most

Ok this is just a stupid thing but WHY in the world did they limit Episodes to 5 then All? Yes this is comparing something to Tivo yet again but on Tivo I have about 5-6 of my shows set to keep 10 Episodes, These are things like Good Eats, The Simpsons (ReRuns) and some others. They are things that I don't have to watch every week but when I have down time I will catch up on some of them. Sorry for the Rant just annoyed me when I realized I didn't have my Good Eats setup on the R15 and then went to tell it to Keep 10 :lol:

I can only think it has to do with programming limitations... They wanted set options so the "brains" of the unit didn't have to worry about a dynamic number. Just my opinion.

Early on IIRC, the TiVos had a max of 5 (then all). It wasn't until the 6.x software until it went to 10... (It could have been an earlier version, but a one point it was certainly 5)

I don't remember when it got switched. I just know that I have had some shows set at 10 for some time now. When I got my first Tivo I was just excited that it did what it did so I never paid attention to things like that. Oh how times have changed.
