Glad to see Mike Dugan back in action. Great no-nonsense leader who understands customers, and can deal with the "suits."

Good day for DISH and customers.

why did he leave in the first place?

Here is the quote from the press release when he left his position as COO: http://www.corporate-ir.net/ireye/ir_site.zhtml?ticker=dish&script=460&layout=-6&item_id=511500

Dugan has shifted his responsibilities within EchoStar to devote more time to his family and personal interests. He plans to accelerate efforts to make his Whistling Elk guest ranch in northern Colorado available to disadvantaged children.

Is this the guy with the big Adam's apple? I don't mean any harm.

Boy, I bet your bill goes up. Mike use to participate on the tech chats, years ago. Big, big man unless you compare him to me. He was instrumental in allot of their early technology and receivers. He will play a big part in the future I am sure.
