Directs latest fix

I called Direct to complain since my R15 locks up on occasion. Their new suggestion is to unplug it for 15 minutes! WTF? I asked, "Do you think it's acceptable that this box needs that type of reset & basically babysat?" They said yes they did.:nono2:

I was going to send the R15 back & just add a second TiVo. I may just use my 12ga. on the R15. I'm afraid if I send it back they will sell it to someone else.....

Maybe instead of a UPS the R15's need to be attached to a timer. Automatically turn the unit off between 2:00 am and 2:30 am every morning. That way it has time to "rest". !pu****! :lol: :lol:
