Questions about HDMI and DVI Connectivity and more..

Can i use a DVI to HDMI cable to feed a DVI output receiver to a HDMI input on my HDTV? If so would it be better picture? Should i order a 411/422 or the 6XX when they come out in a week or so and will i be able to get Local HD from the off air tuner and use my satellite dish as the atennae... (dont know how it works)

Reports from retailers have the 411/Vip211 available next week. Pricing and exact availablity rules have not been announced. Nothing else has been announced.

Thank you james long your so helpful, i praise you.. Whats the difference between a 411/Vip211 my family only has 1 dual tuner receiver,, and i want my own can i lease one? tyvm..

For now there is no difference - the Vip211 has a non-functional ethernet port on the back (and no plan to make it functional). Other than that it looks like E* just changed their mind on the numbering.
