Is it just me or is DirecTV DVR products seem to be in the stone age? TiVo has a ton more feature and even Dishnetwork has the PocketDish.

Here are all the exclusive TiVo features that DirecTV does not have nor have they advertised working on any of these features.

So I'm really at tipping point here should I stay or should I go. I just thought my monthly service fee would be going to some enhancements. But after 3 years using DirecTV Tivo service. It has changed one iota.

What are your guy's thoughts on this? I just feel like I'm stuck in the slow lane behind a lumbering dump truck.

Just to piss you off a little more: the code is there and just needs to be switched on (which many have done on their own with the pre-R10 units).

Yeah, I've actually hacked one of my boxes in the past. But the online scheduling worked, but its not a finished product. And if something goes wrong I'm the technical support. Plus what about additional features like TiVoToGo. Man, I'm really salivating over that. That would be a great excuse for me to get a new toy. I'm married now so I need these excuses to get past they wife.

Actually just to piss you off evenmore there are many newer things in the SA Tivo thats in the newest code but won't ever be on a DirecTV DVR.
