Receiver Activation

Can you no longer activate new receivers on Directv's website? I know it used to be an option but couldn't find it.

I believe you are correct. I think they got rid of it because like anything else convenient, some unscrupulous people were finding a way to exploit the heck out of it and they had to ruin it for all the honest people...its actually been gone quite awhile, like all year if I'm not mistaken
