Hello! First time poster here, so please be gentle!! I have subscribed to XM since a few days before the offocial launch date here on the east coast and absolutely love it! My sceptical wife has also converted and is a true believer of better quality/fewer commercials.
My question is: I was reading in the Sirius portion of this site that they are already upgrading their sound by way of a new type of codec.. Is the XM hardware capable of accepting a new type of codec as well, or would new hardware need to be purchaced should XM upgrade their sound in the future??? Thanks!
