Hello! First time poster here, so please be gentle!! I have subscribed to XM since a few days before the offocial launch date here on the east coast and absolutely love it! My sceptical wife has also converted and is a true believer of better quality/fewer commercials.
My question is: I was reading in the Sirius portion of this site that they are already upgrading their sound by way of a new type of codec.. Is the XM hardware capable of accepting a new type of codec as well, or would new hardware need to be purchaced should XM upgrade their sound in the future??? Thanks!

Hi A1cntrler! Welcome :hi:

Yes all XM Radio are upgradeable via satellite, so if something were to change your radio would accept the update.

So what stations you like the best?

On my head unit, number 1 is 80's on 8, then 90's on nine. Number 3 is 20 on 20, 4 is channel 22 from Houston, TX (wife likes that one sometimes) 5 is Top Tracks (46) and of course, Channel 150, Comedy.
