Recorded Program Jumps

I am new to DVR, I have an R15 for about 2 weeks. I noticed the other day while watching a recorded program that it seems to jump, or go into FF for a split second during the show. Is this a hardware, software, or "R15" have to live with problem? THe more I read the more scared I get with this thing.

Does it do it for ALL programs, or just specific ones?

So far I have noticed it on a movice that I recorded from a Showtime station and again on a network channel program that I recorded. It ialmost seems like a problem playing a recorded show. I am curious if it could be a hard drive problem?

My new 625 did that the day it arrived and the next day the HD went out. The replacement 625 has a steady picture during play back. In my case, it appeared the HD was the problem. A coincidence seems remote.

I never had this issue with my R15 and I watched several recorded programs, you may have a hardware issue. Just to be sure, you should check your software version.
