I just got back from Home Depot, I was buying some cabling, connectors, ........etc. I was going to buy some weatherproof connectors for the outside, but they were $3.00 a pc.....
Anyone know of an online place I could buy these from, hopefully cheaper than $3.00 a piece. They don't seem to be anything more than a regular connector with a tiny O-ring in the bottom.
Never dealt with him, but try jonline at ebay. He's got 100 of 'em for $18.00, RG-6 with O-Rings (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1338665258)
or try the Snap-n-Seal (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1361168309) ones. for $37.00/100

Hello John,
I have used Digicon connectors for the past year. They are 100% waterproof. They are compression type connectors. The digicon tool is $100 dollars to crimp them though. But they are high quality. I can also ship you 100 of the connectors you are talking about with the 0-ring and waterproof grease filled for $25.00
You would need a hex crimper for these. I have all these items in stock too.

Jason... you might consider making an offer for connectors/crimpers in the Buy/Sell/Trade forum... I'm sure there are others who may need what you are offering.

Jason - do you sell the digicon tool? How about a powerbuy for it? :D

Yes Mark I do sell it. It will be $100.00 + actual shipping to your location. What do you mean by powerbuy?

Thanks everyone, If I can get my buddy to split it with me I'll probably order 100.......I really hate to buy that many.
John, not sure what you were looking for, but why not just use the rubber boots with silicone (not the bathroom type), they sell both at radio shack..

Thanks Bill.....Thats a great idea, while at the local Rat Shack I noticed a type of shrink wrap tape as well. Looks kind like a pain in the rear if you wanna undo your connection.
Thanks for the idea Bill. :righton:

If anyone is looking for an inexpensive Snap-N-Seal tool, I can ship them an inexpensive compressor tool with a great built-in stripper for $25 shipping included. The tool is new. I have not tried it on Digicon "S" connectors, but they work GREAT on all SNS connectors. You can't tell the difference from connectors compressed with this tool and the $100 tool.
