My parents zip code, 39817 is in the Tallahassee Fl. DMA. I work for a media company and know this for a fact. However on the D* website, if I check for local channels for 39817, it states that they do not plan to offer them. D* has had Tallahassee DMA locals since 7s went up. So they clearly have that zip code mapped to the wrong DMA. If I enter my grandmothers zip 39818 (7 miles away), they offer Tallahassee locals. If I check for Dish Network locals for 39817, sure enough they offer Tallahassee locals as they should. Any ideas on how to get D* to correct their incorrect DMA mappings?

Wasn't there a zip code change there? I could swear Bainbridge was 31717, and that still works in the zip finder. Perhaps you need to get to a higher up at DirecTV to change their zip numbers.

Yes Bainbridge was 31717, but it changes several years ago. And again they offer locals for 39818, which was created at the same time as 39817.

When I looked those zip codes up on the USPS site, both Bainbridge &
West Bainbridge GA. are not valid codes..one is for P.O. boxes only.
Maybe a pure Tallahassee Fl. zip would work? 323XX.......
