another newbie question

I just got the R15. Had it installed professionally. I've been reading the forums and have found answers to most of my questions. One more question though: are the software upgrades automatic? Or am I going to have to do something to get them? Thanks in advance.

The initial upgrade is when it first boots up. As of yet there have been no others though the talk is of one coming very soon. It should be automatic.

Mine was upgraded (from software version 108F to 109A) last night. A message came on the screen saying there was an update available and do I want to download it now or later. I chose now and it rebooted, downloaded for 5-7 minutes, rebooted again and that was it. :)

Mine was off at the time of the update. When I turned it on this morning, it went straight to normal operation. After reading about the update in the forums, I checked and did in fact have the new software as of 1:58 this morning. So it happened completely automatically and transparently.
