Hi

Looking to always get the best picture I can, I want to change out the splitters of the new install I just recived. i do not know about the splitters they used and would doubt they are the best quality. does anyone know where you can find top notch splitters, grounding blocks, di-plexors, switches, RG6 cable with excellent fittings (need to change the length of some cables)?

Thanks

Why would splitter be used on a Dish install other than to do a mirror image. Those do not need to be anything special.

cheaper splitters have greater loss as well as lower Mhz ratings. Grounding blocks should be rated hi 2.2 or higher Mhz as well. I went through this with my cable modem 3 years ago and was very succesful in gaining a 15 percent better signal when I was done. I have no idea how that would translate over to DBS but it will not hurt and it will make things better . How much, do not know but to me it is worth a try.
