E* is about to raise the DVR fee. For all the greif we experienced with the 921 they should lower or eliminate the DVR fee for the 921, not raise it!

I may just go back to a non-DVR receiver. The 921 was a wonderful concept but in reality it is not ready for prime time.

My hope is that we 921 owners get the same break the 7100 & 7200 owners received.

Start with the Department of Consumer Affairs.
They will send a form to you.
Fill it out.
Let the State Attorney General's Office deal with this company.

No Lemon Laws covering electronics here in Arizona.

Forgot to mention, you have to get into the disconnect department before you find anyone who can consider getting you into a better DVR. At least, that has been my experience with Dish and trying to get a reliable DVR.

What break did we recieve???? Huh No no no no I dont think so biatch do not drag 7x00 users into these we recieved nothing.

A. They still try to attack you with a 10 dollar dvr fee if your not careful enough to yell and scream at them.

B. The only reason why there is a waiver on the dvr fee is because people like my self who paid for the "lifetime dvr subscription" just for it to be no more than a 2 year discounted rate . Which they got in trouble for.

C. The only break I wish I would recieve is the fact that I payed for a lifetime dvr fee and it should carry over to any other Dish Network DVR I happen to purchase in the future, as the wording was ti was tied to the account and not the box.

Enough said stop your patheic 921 whining

I have one and there is nothing wrong with it other than some minor quirks nothing like the 7x00 had to go through.

Are you kidding me? I do not know of ANY product that I can go buy at a store that cost $1000 that fails so much at what its supposed to do.

If you buy a $15 shirt and their is a rip in it, Im sure you would want to exchange it. I bet if you buy a $3 gallon of Milk and its sour you will want it replaced...so for $1000 (thats alot of CASH!) we should be satisfied with a glorified piece of trash?

DISH network only has my business because they are the only provider in my area to carry a channel I cant get elsewhere...but as soon as I can...Im gone. Mr Charlie with his homey "welcome Neighbor" grin on his chat show doesnt quite do it anymore. Its irresponsible and a lack of respect to the client to charge $1000 for an item that crashes every other day...if not every day.

Again shut up with the whining. I own a 921 it has problems get over it. I am out money like everyone else. Would it be nice for dish to replace all the 921 with for free yes. Do I expect them to? NO as it was my mistake for not doing my homework and making sure this was a quality box to begin with. And is the fault of everyone who has bought a 921. You did not do your homework you jumped the gun and now your paying for it.

Stop whining and get a life.

First, what gives with dredging up a 6 month old thread for this topic? The thread material I felt had little to do with where this thread has gone, topic wise. I have laid the thread that was revived from the archives back to rest. The thread I split off was entitled (Sue E*?)

Second, this has become a 921 unfairness thread again. People have called others names, I have both received complaints and I personally feel it is unnecessary to start the 921 wars all over again.

Closing....
