View Full Version : Cost to upgrade 2 811's?

I have two leased 811 receivers. Would I have to pay the $49 'install' fee twice, or would a single $49 install fee cover both?
It's my understanding the $49 covers just ONE LEASED receiver....But the "facts" re: this are clear as mud right now, it seems......:confused:
I also read somewhere in here that you could only get one this year. I would imagine supplies are going to be short for awhile.

Another question will dish just ship us the 211? i sure dont need an install to swap my 811 for the 211.I Already have Super dish 105 and second dish on 61.5 now.

I believe the policy is to always have you on the hook for the receivers you have now, until they receive it and sign it off. That's why they usually ask you to send it back in the same box as the newer receiver. If you think about it, it's not smart to send back the old one until the new one is up and running.
But back to 211, it will largely depend on availability. It would seem your antenna would be fine, unless they need to upgrade hardware to DishPro, etc. (if you don't have it).
