I know it may probably be too early to tell, but hopefully someone got the scoop at CES. Will the 622 now have a true HDMI connection in lieu of the HDTV connector? This was a very misleading feature on my 942 as the "HDTV" connector is designed for HDMI cables, but does not support Dolby Digital. I have to use the optical connector to my HDMI switching receiver which is a waste.. I would hope Dish has got it right with the 622.

I don't know if the 942's hdmi connector supports dolby digital, but it definitely supports 2 channel stereo. That's how I currently get sound out to my hdmi equipped Toshibia HDTV.
