Thanks to extra satellite capacity from EchoStar VII, EchoStar's DISH Network is growing its services in Hawaii, an effort that includes the addition of nine local TV channels, an expanded America's Top 100 programming package and more premium movie channels.

Local channel offerings for DISH Network customers in Hawaii include network affiliates and independent stations, minus the islands' FOX affiliate. Because of the missing channel, the local TV package price was reduced by a dollar.

For $31.99 a month, Alaskan and Hawaiian customers can upgrade from America's Top 70 to America's Top 100. Channel additions include Toon Disney, Discovery Health, FOX News, ESPN Classic, Court TV, the Weather Channel and CNN International. In addition, six HBO channels are available along with three Cinemax channels, eight Showtime channels and six Starz channels.

Anybody with Honolulu locals, if you could provide a list of the Call Signs along with the associated 8000 series channel numbers, it would be appreciated.

There has been some concern as to the accuracy of the list that was provided.
