Has anyone noticed trouble with the local HD feeds in the D.C. area ? While watching over the weekend noticed breakup of picture along bottom of TV screen like what occurs if you were going to loose signal due to obstruction or major rain fade. But it is only the bottom 1/10th or so and lasts for a second or two. Also noticed trouble with the audio on a program after returning from commercial break, video would be fine but there was up to a 5 second delay in the sound restarting. Both seemed to be intermittent and on different channels. When I checked the feeds via OTA for these conditions I couldn't duplicate, everthing was ok. Any suggestions on what could be the issue (spot beams, H20 receiver, network feeds, etc)? Otherwise reception is great + 98% of the time.

I experienced alot of video and audio issues over the weekend as well. It's like the H20 was resetting itself once or twice as well. The TV would go black and then re-appear. the input being displayed like I had just manually changed the input on the TV from the menu.
Screen going black with audio and without audio.
If I didn't have a fan inside my cabinet keeping the temp aroundg 80 degrees, I'd think the H20 was overheating. It seems the H20 gets extremely warm.
I've had problems with 2 H20s (took one back and got a new one, still have the problem). The box reboots every time I go to the local Fox OTA HD feed. It puts itself in a continual loop.
Someone mentioned a possible "PSIP" problem from stations that can cause these types of problems.

hhmm.... I'm not using OTA, and I don't think Redskin9 (the OP) is using OTA either.
(Hey this is my 100th post....:) )

I just got directv this past week and experienced the audio problems this weekend watching the NBC olympic broadcast on the local NBC HD feed (Wash DC).
I called the customer service and they said they are aware of the issue and resent "reset authorizations" to my machine and told me to re-boot. sounds like they are just rebooting my machine which (in my opinion) probably won't work.
Has anyone determined the real fix?

There were a lot of problems with the NBC HD feed this weekend (especially Saturday night). They were all weather related.
One thing that I have also noticed is that DC NBCHD will often just be in ProLogic. But if I switch to NY NBC on 82 it will be in DD.
Anyone else notice this?
