I've had two Dish Network 322 receivers for about a year and the caller ID has only worked once that I know of. I do have caller ID on the line and the phones with caller ID work great. The switch is grounded, and ive unhooked all other devices on the phone line. Also Ive check to be sure its enabled and that the receiver will dial out.
Any suggestions?
Thanks
Earl

I am having the same problem with my new 625 dvr. The caller ID function works maybe 10 percent of the time. It worked flawlessly with my old 301 receiver. I call ed E and the CSR said that this is a known issue with the 625 and they are working to fix it. Does anyone else with a 625 have this problem?

Hi there,
I have the 625. It does the same. I'm new to dish (Only had it since Jan 3rd), so I can't comment on older boxes. The 625 has only displayed the caller id one time. The phone that is connected on the same line gets caller id just fine.
Whats this caller id all about. I don't have it on my phone lines.

Check the front of your phone book or call your phone company. It is a common service offering.

Do you have DSL on your line? If so...use a filter for the receiver.
