So we get Sirius as part of the Dish network (180)...
Is this ALL of Sirius or just a selected number of channels?
How much of the E* monthly fee is due to Sirius?
Is this fee likely to increase because of Sirius ups/downs in the market place?
Thanks
Doug

Music channels only - 01-99 and 112 kids. Available to AT120 and up.
I doubt that E* is paying anything for the channels ... it's marketing to sell Sirius radios.

It looks as though E* has all the sirius music channels. No stern as they wanted too much money for E* to carry it.

That would be "Howard Stern's company" wanted too much to carry it.
Sirius has the rights to their music feeds and can share them with E*.
Sirius does NOT have the rights to the talk content, beyond their receivers.

Thanks all.
Followup...so does the other music (CD) content belong to E* or is that somebody elses feed just picked up?
Thanks

The CD channels are Muzak ...
It's actually part of Muzak's distribution system. Muzak satellite receivers are pointed at E* satellites to get the tunes for their elevators and stores.
