Who can the Indians possibly send to this years All Star
Game with Colon gone?

Jim Thome and Omar Vizquel are the only possible Candidates in my opinion, Though Vizquel gets the edge, batting over .300 with already a career high in homeruns (10) and his ususal Gold Glove work at shortstop I can see the AL choosing him.

My guess is the same, Omar and Thome both could get on the team. We've been seeing the columns about how Torre could take 4 SS and no backup 2B; in that case, Omar probably would be one of the 4 SS. I'd guess that the Tribe holds Omar off the DL until the All-Star roster is announced; and Omar could bow out after he's named, if his shoulder is still sore.

In any case, Thome is having such a big season, it would be a shame if he's squeezed out... but then there are always a few.
