I have been a dish customer for over 10 years but that doesn't seem to matter to dish. :nono2: I have a dishplayer 7100 and 7200. Both are working ok but I occasionally have annoying signal loss, hard drive noise, missing program guides etc. I love the format and I have gotten used to how they work. I signed up to get a new 625 on the promotion section of the dish website, no mention that it was only for new customers. When I didn't get an install date email as I was told I called the CS and was told I was out of luck and could get a comparable receiver but I would have to pay $100 or so for it with no 3 months free premium channels or other perks offered to new customers. I was angry and decided to not do anything right then. I have a grandfathered CBS east coast feed in addition to the CBS west coast and I really like it which is what has stopped me from going to Direct TV. I do not want to pay extra fees since I am on a budget. I don't pay anything now except the 2nd receiver fee, my monthly bill is $38.48 and all the added fees for new equipment are so confusing now. Can anyone offer advice on what I should upgrade to or when? Any specials deals coming up? Anyone have some old stuff they don't want? ;) Eventually I would like to get a dual tuner or 2 DVR's to replace my current set up. Thanks for any advice.

by calling to dish now, i would ask for the new dish n it up promotions, you can now get a dual tuner dvr unit that gives you recording capability in both rooms. the cost of the upgrade varies on qualifications. some customers may qualify for a49.00 ,78.00 or 98.00 dollar upgrade with an 18 month commitment. wonderful savins all around because the old dish players are no longer being made. being a 10yr customer, youmay qualify for the 49.00 upgrade with installation.

also, all promotion on the web sites are for new customers due to the fact qualifications are differant for each customer. best way to quickly qualify is signing up with club dish!!!!
