DirectTV and DVR's [Archive]

Hi All,
Quick question... Lets say I'm getting DirectTV and I opt for the 2 TV install with DVR... Am I correct in beleiving that with that set up, my wife can record 1 show on her tv while I record another show on my TV and we watch yet a 3rd show (or maybe a DVD on the DVD player). All at the same time!

Yes for both TV would have their own DVR so you would have a total of two both with dual tuners so you can watch one program on one TV while you record another and at the same time your wife can record one program on the other while watching something else.

You could also record 2 programs and watch a DVD all simultaneously on the same TV.

and you can also record 4 programs while watching two different ones that were previously recorded.

The only issue is to find time to watch the 4 recorded programs ;-)

I wish we could petition for more than 24 hours in a day. Who couldn't use that time (ok prisoners i guess)
