Go to sports mix channels and with a interactive enabled receiver the content will show at the bottom, select the different color buttons for ...
One button brings up a Olympic TV guide, you can scroll it like the regular guide.
One button gives team usa info
one does a medal count screen.

I have "stuck" this post, so it can serve as the discussion point for DirecTV Interactive coverage of the Olympics.

Can someone remind me which receivers are interactive enabled? Is it just the D10/D11's?
I've got a new D11 here, and there is not one word about mix channels or interactive use in the manual that I could find.....
How do you activate it again?

The R15 and the H20 are also interactive ready.
Check Channel 104
On the R15 a message bar kicks in on the bottom and tells you what buttons to push to get to what interactive piece.

I dont think that the H20 is interactive right now. Now I could be wrong and am getting a swap of my H10 for H20 and 5LNB dish soon.

You are correct... The H20 isn't interactive.. :( Thanks for the correction
As far as I know:
- All D10s and all D11s are interactive.
- All R15s are interactive
- H20 is interactive ready but the current code does have it yet.

Again, how do you activate the interactive part? YOu have to hit some button to actually get the yellow selection box to show up, and htere is nothing about it in the users manual for the D11 at least....

Hmm... on the R15... It just appears... I don't have a D11 so i can't tell you there.
The H20 is indeed 'partly' interactive. While on one of the mix channels, if you press the yellow button on the remote it will change the audio feed to another channel in the mix. I couldn't find the button (probably not enabled yet) to change or select video.

What do you think the active button does?
If you press that, it goes to DTV active. There you can find the mix channels (sports mix has the olympic stuff).
If you go to channel 104 and wait a seccond, a bar will appear telling you what the color buttons do.

All recievers can change the audio, even the ones that don't support active.

I really hope D* is working on a way to allow users to customize what channels appear in each MIX channel...

The Olympic TV guide is cool, but I wish you could set a program to record from there. That would have been really cool.

That's next to impossible unless they can create a 6 tuner reciever.
I think today is the last day of the Olympics and this interactive channel was a nice feature. I hope they do more events like this.
Maybe a sports only one. It could have the games scores, standings, schedule, etc... There would be a tab for NFL, NBA, BB, etc....
