Blocking channels from guide on H20

I trying to figure out how to not only block channels I do not want to receive but how to make the receiver stop showing them in the channel lineup guide. The H20 instructions are pretty easy to just block channels but I don't want to see them in the channel guide too. Is the way to do this just using a favorites channel setup? Anyone have any suggestions for this?:confused:

click MENU

Click SETTINGS

click FAVORITES

click CUSTOM 1

edit channels

keep that list as your favorite

DONE
