Extended warranty for R10

I'm ready to buy my first DVR...

The local Wal-Mart has R10's in stock, but I've read that it only comes with a 90-day mfg. warranty and Wal-Mart does not offer an extended warranty.

Is there anyway to get an extended warranty after I buy it at Wal-Mart?

My other option is to buy an R15 at Best Buy and can get a 4-year extended warranty for $20.

If you choose to buy it from a place like value electronics, I *believe* they offer a 5 year warranty as standard, check their website....
