As my sig indicates, I have a 721 and a 921 receiver. I also have a Dish300 pointed at 61.5 and a Dish500 pointed at 110/119. If I have a DPP Twin LNB on the Dish500 and a DP Dual on the Dish300, would I still be required to use a DPP44 switch to run a single line to the 721 and a single line to the 921? My understanding is that I could connect a DP Dual output to the DPP Twin input and then run single lines to each receiver and use separators at each. Thoughts?

I'll try to answer my own question. According to this article, I should be able to use a DPP Twin and DP Dual and connect directly to my 2 receivers without the need for the DPP44 switch. However, this document also indicates that the 721 and 921 can't yet do this. I'm thinking it's just an old document that doesn't reflect more recent software updates.

Awesome, thanks. My only remaining question is if the 721 software will accommodate this configuration. I think it will but I need to verify.

yes the 721 will work. I do not use it on my 721 but my son does. Remember you net a seperator at your 721/921 to split it back out

Thanks. I found the following thread where Bobabird confirms the last 721 software update works with the DPP Twin. Appreciate your help!
