BREAKING NEWS:
In a Securities and Exchange Commission filing released today,
EchoStar said Michael Neuman resigned as president and CEO.
Neuman's duties will be assumed by Carl Vogel, vice chairman
of the company, and Michael Dugan, chief technical officer and
formerly president and chief operating officer, EchoStar said.
Neuman joined EchoStar in June.

President and Chief Operating Officer
As president and chief operating officer, Michael Neuman oversees the day-to-day operations of EchoStar Communications Corporation. Prior to joining EchoStar in June 2005, Neuman served three years as president of Bell Mobility, the wireless subsidiary of Bell Canada Enterprises (BCE). Neuman also served as president of Teleglobe Europe, WorldLinx Telecommunications and Cerberus Canada. In the mid 90s, Neuman founded and was president & CEO of Bell ExpressVu Satellite Television, Canada's first digital, direct-to-home satellite TV broadcasting company. Neuman also established BCE subsidiary, MediaLinx, which launched Sympatico, now Canada's largest Internet Service Provider. Neuman has a bachelor of arts degree from the University of Western Ontario.
