Hello,

I'm new to dual tuner dvr receivers. My 622 is set upin single mode, because I'm only using one television. However, I've tried to set a timer to record all new episodes of two shows that occur on the same night and time. Why did I receive multiple conflicts during timer setup? Why is the receiver acting as though it only has 1 tuner? Shouldn't the timer be able to record one show on one tuner and another show using the other tuner and still record all new episodes of both? Please help my experience has only been with single tuner receivers in the past.

Thanks!

Should unless they are both OTA recordings at the same time.

I think boylehome hit the nail on the head. The first time I did that (tried to record two digital local channels at the same time) I saw the conflict and wondered if it was me or the 622. Then I thought about it for a second and realized what I was doing (trying to record two programs at the same time from one tuner).

Another thing that might be confusing to new 622 owners is that even if you have your timer recording set up for tuner 2, it will always have a little 1 in the guide when it set to record from the OTA tuner.

Thank you. That was my problem.
