I was pretty surprised...my bill was for $240! I expected about $100, since it was about $85 before...here's what they did, just for the record.
They take the $299 that you give them up front for the 622 and just credit your account with it. Let assume your install is out a few weeks from the date they debit the $299.
When your bill becomes due, they take it from the $299 credit and do not debit your account as usual, since it looks like you have a $299 credit already. Assume this occurs before your install but after they took the $299.
Then after the install, you get your next bill and of course you don't have enough credit to cover the 2 months plus the $299, so you wind up with a "double" bill...
I told him they'd get plenty of calls on this one..I wish they'd just take the $299 for the 622 and continue on as usual.
