Turn off Preview on R15

When I hit the guide I can still see live tv in the slow window. Is there a way to turn that off?
Also anyone notice even tho you have it set to first runs it still will record shows sometimes?

I don't know of any way to shut off the live/recorded picture window. As for your second question, ya it's a huge problem they are working on trying to get fixed. It drives many of us here crazy because of the show pruning we all have to do to to clean up these repeats. Hopefully in the next release this will actually be addressed. :)

If the issue that you don't want to see the show go on while you're reading the guide, we found the only option is to hit the pause button. If the issue is putting the screen real estate to better use, I don't think it's an option.
