Sometimes i don't remember if I've watched a recorded show so I'll start watching it and then want to delete before it gets to the end. On the UTV and the R15 you can just hit stop and it will give you an option to delete it. Since there's no stop button the Tivo the only solution i've found is to jump to the end, FF and play and then have to wait to delete the program. Is there a faster way?
Arrow left (the one at the top of the remote, not the rewind key), and choose Delete.
If you're near the end, it'll often prompt you to delete just like you went all the way to the end.

From your remote, press the List button. Then press the Clear button, and then select to delete.

For me, I do one of two things. I either hit the ->| (jump to the end) button, then the left arrow on the round "button", which brings up a screen allowing me to delete or not delete. Or, if I am not near the end and hit the left arrow on the round button (once or twice) it brings up the screen you would get if you chose the program in the "Now Playing List" that allows you to Play, Save, Delete, etc. Then I just hit the "Clear" button and Select to delete. Very easy, very few keystrokes.
The tip about the left arrow button I found on here about a year ago and saved me a lot of time from what I had been doing.
Hope that helps (though it was pretty much covered by the previous posters).
