U.K. cable operator Telewest this week launched an HD PVR
service with the Scientific Atlanta Personal Video Recorder.
In addition to giving consumers access to advanced cable
services such as video-on-demand, the Scientific Atlanta PVR
has three video tuners, giving users the ability to record two
programs while watching a third. The box also incorporates
a tuner for high-speed data access, Scientific Atlanta sad.
