Bass Reflex Speaker technology from harman/kardon and Intel Centrino Duo Mobile
Technology built around the Intel Core Duo processor.

"This latest incarnation of our award-winning Qosmio digital convergence notebook
line offers innovative features that further enhance the audio-video experience,"
said Jeff Barney, of Toshiba's DP division. "It marks the continuation of Toshiba's

The G35-AV600 includes the QosmioPlayer, allowing users to watch TV, DVDs or

Actually Nick, your title is a little misleading. The above are the "new" features of the Qosmio. My Qosmio is about a year old now, but has all the other features mentioned, including the TV tuner and DVR. Very nice. When we run into problems with too many people wanting to record different programming at the same time for the Tivo to handle we use the Qosmio. I've even used it to watch a ball game on a trip (I was not driving). The primary diference between the G35 and my F25 Qosmio is that I have a 15" screen, not the 17". Personally, I think the 15" is big enough to haul around. And I have the Pentium M processor, not the Duo Core.
