I had originally scheduled all new episodes of a certain program to DVR, but since I've cancelled the network I no longer need them. I can't figure out how to cancel scheduled DVR events like this.
Little help?

I'm not sure what DVR you have, so the exact steps may vary. First, if you no longer even have a subscription to the channel usually the timer just goes away. Not sure if that is true for all DVRs from DISH though. To delete a timer you need to to into your timer menu, find the timer and simply select it and delete it. If you post your DVR model, I'm sure myself or someone else could walk you through that.

I believe I have the 522 SD dual receiver

I don't have a 522 so I'll have to leave the exact sequence for someone else to answer, sorry.

Little help?I have a 522, but I am not sure I fully understand your question. I would just delete the timer. You can do this in the timers menu.

another vote for deleting the timer.
on my 625 (virtually identical to the 522) the sequence is as follows: press the dvr button twice, then Schedule, then Timers. Then find the offending Timer, press Select and choose Delete.

thanks- I have the 625 not the 522. I got rid of the Penn & Tellers (damn).
(Plus was able to wipe out 2 weeks of Ned's declassified "something" that my kids hacked into)
