Is there a rebate if I upgrade from my 811 to Vip211? Also I had upgraded from a Dish 500 to a Super Dish and I understand now I'll need to change over to a another dish, that apparently is not yet available at least in my area. Any information would be appreciated about upgrading including the new dish availability. My local Dish Network dealer can't come up with any concrete information either.

Not a rebate, no. I sent back a 311 for a $25 credit when I got my 211. You'd probably net more for the 811 on e-bay. If you're leasing the 211, and upgrading to one of the metallic HD packs through Dish, I think that all the necessary equipment is included for $49.
