I am thinking about upgrading my 921's with the new 622.
I currently sub to AEP, locals and VOOM HD.
My dishes are pointing to 110/119 with a dish 500 and a dish 300 pointing at 61.5
All Dish Pro LNB's are connected to 2, 34 switches.
Where is the new MPEG4 programming coming from.
I'm not sure I can get a clear shot at 129 if the new programming is there ,without re-wiring everything.
Thanks

The MPEG4 nationals are all mirrored on 129° and 61.5°, with the exception of CBSHDNY, which is MPEG2, and only on 61.5°.
Most likely, your HD locals (Midwest) will end up on 129°.

Many of the natl HD channels are on 110. The rest, including the newer ones, are on both 61.5 and 129. You have what you need unless your HD locals get added to 129.

If this is the case, then why are they forcing me to drop 61.5 for 129?
Ken
129 and 61.5 have the same national HD programming, it's just the local's on it that are different, so you won't really be losing anything if you have to switch. There are several international and PI channels that are different as well, if you miss those, you might need to look into getting an additional dish.
