Is there really a limit of 32 timers on the 625? Are they serious?!?! I see folks complaining about the 96 limit on the 622. Anyway 32 is what I see no my unit dispite what it says at ekb.dbstalk.com/101

Anyway 32 is what I see no my unit dispite what it says at ekb.dbstalk.com/101It may be that you are hitting the event limit (288, apparently). I've had similar experiences. I want to say that I've gotten the "maximum number of timers has been reached" message in the past with less than 32 timers. I record shows like The Daily Show, Family Guy, Law & Order, and some children's shows that tend to come on 5-6 times a day. I think timers like that create lots of events very quickly and hit the event limit.
I have to say that although I like my 625 very much, the timer/event limit is very annoying, and seems like a silly limitation. I'm a recent convert from a Tivo and I never had to worry about any arbitrary limitations with the number of scheduled recordings on it; the hard drive space was the only thing I had to be concerned with. Since my 625 has far more hard drive space and two tuners it seems obvious that I would want to record a ton of stuff with it, but the device fights me for what seems to be no good reason.
